ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

CPHA is seeking an Administrative Officer. Reporting to the Executive Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for administrative services, human resources support, governance support, and for specific initiatives as required. While this position has core responsibilities, it has a broad focus that will vary over time.

This position requires an energetic, details-oriented individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ability to multi-task and maintain consistently high-quality work is essential. Candidates applying for this position should have:

  • University or college education and a minimum of five years’ relevant experience.
  • The ability to communicate fluently in French and English is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Highly developed organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Good judgment and discretion.
  • Above average proficiency with computer software, especially Microsoft Office.

The salary range for this position is $53,795-$62,363 dependent on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. CPHA offers a comprehensive benefits package including a group RRSP; generous vacation leave; paid sick days; and flexible working hours. While the successful candidate may work remotely or utilize workspace at CPHA’s office in Ottawa, they must live in the National Capital Region.
