MULTIPLE AD DISCOUNTS

  • A 15% discount will apply when multiple ads are purchased concurrently
  • A 10% discount will apply to all returning advertisers
  • Only one discount can be applied for a given booking

Terms

  • All advertising material is subject to approval by CPHA and subject to the terms of CPHA’s Sponsorship Policy.
  • Advertisements will not be accepted from companies that manufacture, distribute and/or sell tobacco products, vaping devices, cannabis, alcohol, sugar-sweetened beverages, firearms, or weapons of mass destruction.
  • All sales are final. CPHA does not offer cancellations or refunds.
  • All pricing is in Canadian dollars.
  • A discount will apply at the time of booking for multiple advertisements.
  • An invoice will be forwarded at month’s end for any advertisement(s) that appeared that month.
  • Whereas CPHA is a charitable organization, the sale of advertising space in an electronic medium is NOT subject to the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST).
  • Payment can be made by cheque or credit card. If payment is to be made by credit card, this must be confirmed at the time of booking. A 2.5% service charge will be added for credit card payments.
  • Artwork deadline is 10 business days prior to the publication date. The CPHA Weekly Update is published every Tuesday. E-blasts are published on Wednesdays (as required). 
  • The advertiser is responsible for ensuring artwork is submitted in reasonable time (as determined at the sole discretion of CPHA) to be included in the scheduled edition(s) of the CPHA Weekly Update. If artwork for a regularly scheduled CPHA Weekly Update is not provided in a reasonable time, the advertiser will be billed for the placement and the contract will not be extended to make up for the missed edition. If artwork for a specially scheduled e-blast is not provided in a reasonable time, the e-blast may, at the sole discretion of CPHA, be rescheduled for another date in discussion with the advertiser.
  • New artwork can be submitted during the 13-week run cycle but the advertisement type must be the same. No artwork changes are permitted from 15 December to 15 January.
  • Advertisers and advertising agencies assume liability for all content and also assume responsibility for any claims arising therefrom made against CPHA.
  • Advertisers and advertising agencies agree that CPHA shall be under no liability for failure, for any cause, to insert any advertisement.
  • The appearance of advertising in the CPHA Weekly Update does not constitute a guarantee or endorsement of the quality for value of such product or of claims made for it by its manufacturer.
  • Advertisements for health care products must adhere to the Innovative Medicines Canada Code of Ethical Practices (regardless of company’s membership status with Innovative Medicines Canada), and be approved by the Pharmaceutical Advertising Advisory Board (PAAB) (advertiser’s responsibility) as meeting the standards outlined in the Code of Advertising Acceptance. It is the advertiser’s responsibility to ensure that its advertising adheres to all applicable standards and regulations
