Policy Program Poster Presentation

REVIEW CRITERIA

The following criteria will be used by reviewers to evaluate each research submission:

  • Innovation and relevance – Does the abstract address a gap in existing public health programs or policy?
  • Background – Is the background clearly stated and specify what the program or policy development aims to achieve?
  • Methods, activities and evaluation – Are tools, instruments, or techniques appropriate to program or policy development? Do methods, activities, and evaluation logically connect?
  • Effectiveness and Analysis - Do results demonstrate program or policy effectiveness? Do they support, challenge, or inform policy decisions or program changes?
  • Outcomes – Do outcomes clearly show impact, change, or improvement?
  • Practical implementation – Does the abstract provide clear evidence of its potential or actual public health impact?
  • Overall quality and clarity – Is the abstract well written and coherent?

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Submissions must meet the following criteria otherwise, they will not be accepted for peer review:

  • Submissions MUST be completed using the template provided and be submitted electronically.
  • The template CANNOT be changed to include additional sections. 
  • Submissions must not exceed one page.
  • A maximum of two (2) submissions may be submitted as the presenting author.
  • Submissions that do not adhere to these criteria will not be accepted for peer review.

SUBMISSION ACCEPTANCE

  • Submitters will be notified of the outcome by Monday 15 December.
  • All speakers who present must be registered for at least one day of the conference by Wednesday 11 February in order to be included in the program. 
  • No financial assistance is available for registration, travel, or accommodation fees. 
  • Exhibitor and sponsor passes CANNOT be used by presenters.
