Registration Advisor – Contract (two positions available)

The Ontario College of Pharmacists, the licensing and regulatory body for pharmacy practice in Ontario, is currently seeking two highly motivated individuals to join the College as Registration Advisors. There are two contract positions available - for a two year and a three year term. The successful candidates’ core responsibilities will be to work within a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to support the evaluation, development and delivery of the Structured Practical Training program  for students, interns and pharmacy technicians. The Registration Advisors will assist Registration Programs in its efforts to ensure all applicants have access to fair, objective, transparent and impartial registration practices.

The ideal candidates will have previous experience in either community or hospital pharmacy setting as well as in adult education and training. They will possess strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills, identifying when discretion, diplomacy and tact are required.  The individuals will feel at ease in making presentations to external stakeholders and have a demonstrated ability in dealing effectively with people of varied cultural backgrounds, in individual and group settings.

The successful candidates will have strong organizational skills and be experienced in dealing with multiple demands while maintaining composure without losing sight of desired outcomes. Computer experience with Microsoft Office is essential along with the ability to learn new technologies.

The ideal candidate for the two year contract term is a licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the College. The ideal candidate for the three year contract term is a Regulated Pharmacy Technician or must be eligible for license in Ontario.
