New HIV Prevention Technologies

Online learning The online training module was developed to enhance frontline providers’ knowledge of New HIV Prevention Technologies (NPTs) and is intended to complement CPHA’s eLearning module. This training module is meant to be used by facilitators who are training frontline providers on the use of New HIV Prevention Technologies (NPTs) and as an online learning resource.
Webinar CPHA in partnership with the Canadian AIDS Society, Interagency coalition on AIDS and Development and CATIE conducted five webinars on new HIV prevention technologies between July and August 2011. You can listen in or download material from these events.

The CPHA HIV Portal provides easy access to key information about HIV globally and in Canada for health professionals, researchers and interested individuals.

It features various types of resources, published reports, scientific literature, policy documents, webinars, articles, fact sheets, frequently asked questions (FAQs) as well as links to key Canadian and international organizations that support the prevention and treatment of HIV.

This work was made possible through financial contributions from the Public Health Agency of Canada.
