Permanent, Full-Time (1.0 EFT)
This position will provide leadership within the Population and Public Health (PPH) Program of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (Winnipeg, Canada), and expertise in the design and implementation of epidemiologic analyses and on the interpretation and dissemination of information on chronic diseases, determinants of health and environmental health. The incumbent will also provide leadership and epidemiologic support to ongoing community health assessment. The incumbent may be eligible for appointment as a nil-time assistant professor at the University of Manitoba. A Ph.D. in a relevant area (epidemiology, public health or biostatistics) or MD (with additional postgraduate training) is required. Advanced analytical skills and experience using statistical analysis tools (e.g., SAS, Stata) are required. Experience designing and implementing community health assessment exercises is an asset.
